Miyartuwi Dreaming is an indigenous-owned nonprofit organisation creating equality across the Indigenous employment landscape. They achieve this by holistically collaborating with other service providers to provide 360-degree job support for Indigenous workers.
In Tiwi, Miyartuwi means “Pandanus” and is one of the four “Yiminga groups” or “skin groups” across the pristine Tiwi Islands. (The skin group a Tiwi native is born into dictates who they can marry).
Miyartuwi Dreaming offers comprehensive support to Indigenous people, assisting with workforce development, training, pre-employment, accommodation, financial literacy, transport, mental health, childcare, equipment, and so much more.
