Mumpara Footsteps

Mumpara Group is proud to be Australia’s leading Indigenous recruitment service. We are passionate about empowering Indigenous individuals and communities and are committed to creating a more inclusive and prosperous economy for all. In 2023, we have achieved some significant milestones.

We logged 130k hours worked by our Indigenous Workforce, with $5.5 million Gross Wages paid.

We have also been involved with the Indigenous Career Support Program, the Indigenous Apprenticeship and Traineeship Program, and the Indigenous Business Development Program.

It’s Not Just About Hiring People

We have a holistic approach to empowering Indigenous people and communities by supporting causes and opportunities outside of recruitment. This includes our AFLNT Sponsorship at TIO Stadium, Darwin.

We’re also big on work-life balance and self-care in our team, and if you follow us on social media, you’ll see we encourage this as part of a happy and healthy existence.

Putting Indigenous Businesses In The Spotlight

Magabala’s books remind us of the power of bridging gaps through storytelling, promoting understanding, and celebrating Indigenous people’s unique perspectives. All are part of our mission to uplift and celebrate the invaluable contributions of Indigenous communities.

We also feature and celebrate Indigenous entrepreneurship. Be sure to check these remarkable businesses we previously featured on our Facebook. If it’s traditional art, culinary traditions and eco clothing you’re after when it’s time to buy gifts this festive season ,and beyond, they’ve got you covered.

Keeping Indigenous Culture and History Alive

Understanding cultural diversity and its impact on our lives can be enhanced by learning about the histories of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. One astounding aspect of Aboriginal culture that many Australians are unfamiliar with is the Indigenous relationship to Country. It plays a significant role in shaping their unique cultural identity.

Our work also incorporates educating the public and encouraging mutual appreciation of Indigenous peoples’ past, present, and future. In learning about Aboriginal history, traditions and practices, contemporary issues and cultural protocols, the more people can grow to appreciate and respect them.

Consistently engaging with local communities.

We know that local community engagement yields more effective solutions, access to in-depth understanding, greater acceptance, and builds a network of investors. Companies can gain significantly from engaging with the Indigenous community. We help them do so by utilizing our broad knowledge and extensive network of stakeholders.

Confidence in Collaboration

We are grateful for the support of our partners, clients, community and employees, who make us proud. Receiving reviews like this one from Bidgerdii Community Health Service warms our hearts and inspires us!

As we look ahead to 2024, we are confident that, together with our incredible partners, we can continue to positively impact the lives of Indigenous individuals. Our collective efforts aim to create a more inclusive and prosperous economy for all Australians, fostering positive change. We remain dedicated to these goals through collaboration and sustained commitment.

We are so proud of how far we have come and what we have achieved in 2023, and we can’t wait to see what 2024 will bring.
