Tumarripi Remfrey is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Mumpara Group. He has over 20 years of experience in senior management roles across NGO and private organisations, helping them to develop an inclusive workforce, preserve cultural heritage, and engage Indigenous communities.

Bringing seven incredible Indigenous-focused recruitment, nonprofit, and construction groups under one Mumpara family, it’s Peter’s mission to empower Indigenous communities to holistically break the cycle of generational welfare dependence.

With experience in most of the Northern Territory and Queensland’s major Indigenous community projects and programs, Peter has played a pivotal role in the development, management, and execution of Australia’s employment and workforce development policies and strategies for Indigenous communities.

His extensive knowledge of Indigenous culture and commercial challenges allows him to bridge the gap between employer and Indigenous talent and shape our client’s diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies to meet modern principles, practices, and requirements.

As Mumpara Group’s Executive Assistant, Rizza Cayabyab supports the CEO and executives in carrying out administrative tasks for the entire group from our head office.

With exceptional organisational skills and a Bachelor of Hotel and Restaurant Management from the Philippine Women’s University, Rizza provides sophisticated calendar management for the CEO, acts as liaison and provides support to the executive team, and completes a broad variety of administrative tasks that facilitate the CEO’s ability to effectively lead the organisation. 

With a range of skills including C-level support, database management, organisational skills, and process improvement, Rizza is a highly competent and experienced professional who consistently delivers excellent work in keeping Mumpara Group efficient and organised.

Matthew Wheeler is a motivated and reliable Heavy Diesel Mechanic with over four years of experience in repair and maintenance of heavy equipment.

He is familiar with safety standards and all manner of repairs, adhering to company standards for maintenance and repair work. Matthew is a quick learner, self-confident, responsible, and reliable, and loves a challenge!

He has experience with Mig welding and oxy cutting and is a confident forklift operator with warehousing experience. Matthew takes pride in his work, believing in a good presentation of himself and his workplace.

As Mumpara Group’s Regional Manager across the Western and central divisions including WA, NT and SA, Jamie-Lee is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring Indigenous candidates for open positions. Her goal is to connect our clients with ambitious Indigenous candidates that match their culture and role requirements.

With a Certificate III in Business and Certificate IV in HR Management, Jamie-Lee boasts an educated and experienced background in civil construction, oil, and gas with several HR advisory and site administration roles under her belt.

Jamie-Lee loves that every day at work is always different, keeping her on her toes. One day Jamie-Lee could be helping an employee take the next steps in their career, and the next, she could be dealing with the effects of law and regulations. It’s a nice challenge!

When Jamie-Lee isn’t nurturing talented Indigenous candidates, she can be found out on adventures, fishing, reading, or enjoying the serenity of her rural block with family.

Jason Greene is an employment specialist who has been working in Employment Services for nearly 20 years with a passion for creating real employment opportunities for Indigenous people. Jason brings a wealth of experience and a Certificate IV in Business/Employment Services. Previously, at the Clontarf & Stars Foundations Jason championed employment and training outcomes for Indigenous school leavers and alumni.

His career, marked by diverse roles such as Recruitment Consultant, Transition Manager & Business Development Manager, has equipped him with an in-depth understanding of workforce development solutions. This expertise, coupled with his experience in start-ups and system implementation, positions him as a valuable asset to the Mumpara team.

Away from the professional sphere, Jason finds joy in family time, playing cricket and golf, nurturing his culinary skills and his garden. His dedication to fostering career success extends beyond the workplace, making him an integral part of the communities he serves.
